UL 142 Tanks
Flameshield® tanks are UL 142-listed aboveground storage tanks designed for the safe storage of flammable and combustible liquids. Each tank features a tight-wrap double-wall design and has been independently tested to withstand 2 hours of fire exposure at 2000°, as required by Southwest Research Institute Standard SwRI 97-04.
These tanks provide both primary and secondary containment, with optional interstitial space monitoring for leak detection. Capacities range from 500 to 75,000 gallons, and designs are available in horizontal, vertical, rectangular, and diked configurations.
